About me

recent
I have always been fascinated by surrealism. There is something in it that corresponds to my aesthetics and preferences in various art forms (such as painting, and film). The main elements that inspire me are the abundance of symbolism and metaphors, emphasizing the irrationality of the human mind and subconscious, questioning social norms, illusory (in my opinion) illogicality, unnaturalness, distortion or hypnotic/psychedelic quality of depicted objects, people, scenes, and unpredictability.

Impressionism – evanescence, playing with light and color, visible brushstrokes, everyday life, subjectivity. It encompasses everything I need to relax and makes me feel the urge to paint outdoors.

Expressionism – similar to impressionism, the element of subjective perception and the play of intense colors take center stage in my inspiration. Additionally, the distortion of shapes and their exaggeration, visible brush movements, symbolism combined with abstraction and social commentary, and the ability to evoke emotions. If I need an abstract thrill of emotions in my new work, I turn to expressionism or surrealism.

Symbolism – like all the artistic movements mentioned above, it embraces subjectivity and suggestiveness, ambiguity, and evocation of emotional impressions. In this particular movement, I love the enigmatic nature of the message, maximum ambiguity, exploration of spiritual and metaphysical themes, ornate details, and rich color palette.

Cover art and poster art – I believe they are underrated and not adequately recognized as forms of art. I am fascinated by imaginative shapes and patterns, unexpected combinations of seemingly contradictory elements, forms, or artistic movements. The contrast of colors, vibrancy, tasteful controversy, provocation of emotions, boldness in communication, or seemingly minimalist forms of expression, and above all, the fusion of artistry with functionality, are incredibly stimulating for a new project.

I pause when I see an intriguing poster on the street or an album cover in a store, and I joyfully admire someone’s work, ideas, and execution (such as printing technology, chosen medium, etc.).

I love attending art exhibitions in these artistic movements and exploring multidimensional artistic posters, both those purely artistic and those used for films or events promotion (such as concerts or other happenings).

About me

DRAWING AND GRAPHICS 2014-2023
I have been drawing since I could remember. I started digital drawing at the age of 13 years old (2014) using a computer mouse. I was practicing by drawing portraits to get used to the mouse and to be able to control my movements. I did not use any cursor stabilization, cause I did not know anything like that exists at that time. As I trained my hand, I found out about graphic tablets and I bought one in 2016. Since then I left mouse drawing behind. I went to high school in the field of graphic design in 2017 (to 2021), because I knew it is something that interests me and also can open many doors for me in the labor market. 2018-2020 I was trying to find my own style in digital art and graphic design while making new artwork/graphic designs. I finally found my style in 2021 and I was exploring and experimenting with it. In 2022 I went back to drawing using the computer mouse and to this day (02.2023) I can not imagine drawing without it. Also, I found my favorite things to design – cover art, and posters. Also now I know what inspires me the most – colors.

AMV/MP4s 2013-2023
I edit videos since I was 12 years old (2013). I started with editing my favorite movies at that time to music that expressed what I wanted to express via the video I was making. I used Windows Movie Maker at first, but later I switched to every software there was dedicated to video editing I stumbled upon. I have been doing that on my (now 10-year-old) computer with 1GB VRAM and Intel Core i3 + barely 2-4GB RAM – this itself was a challenge, haha. I have had some breaks from doing it because of a lack of motivation or inspiration, but I tried to keep going to not forget what I have learned by myself. My big comeback to vid editing was in 2019 and to this day I do release new MP4s sometimes.
